Pollyanna & Rob

When we met, I had been on and off Christian Connection for about 15 years (!!!) and Rob had been a member for about 3 months! I wasn’t a paid up member at the time but kept my profile live so I felt at I was making at least some sort of effort. Rob waved at me, then messaged and after about a month I paid up for yet another month (!) so I could reply to him. We met a month later. Fast forward to last August and we became husband and wife! It was honestly the best day of my life and I remain incredibly thankful to Christian Connection for bringing us together - Rob has definitely been worth the very very long wait! Hopefully our story can be an encouragement to someone that it really is worth persevering on this site. Trawling through profiles is no fun. Meeting up with strangers for dates is scary. It can all become very demoralising when yet another potential doesn’t work out. But I found it all to be worth it after I eventually got to meet JUST the right man - after a very long time! So here’s to 2021 and not giving up!
