Scott and I met on your Christian connection website in May 2015. Scott had been sent home from work with a migraine and I was giving internet dating one last chance, and that particular Friday was the day ! The only problem was Scott lived in Sheffield and I lived in Arbroath, Scotland. After lots of messaging on your site that night...we decided to call each other!! Some nights we were on the phone for 4 hours!!
Both being born again Christians for many years we felt God was leading us both to be with one another!
Our 1st meeting was one month later in June when I travelled the 300 plus miles to meet Scott for the 1st time!! Have never been so nervous in my whole life!!
Things continued to develop for us both with the very long distance....however after 5 months Scott decided he wanted to relocate to Scotland to be with me. This showed me how committed Scott was for our relationship to develop further. I am a charge nurse in a very busy hospital and being very close to my family his commitment strengthened things further for us!
So then 7 months later Scott proposed to me on Christmas Day 2015 and on the 23rd September 2017 we were finally married surrounded by our family and close friends to continue our happy ever after.
No.1 tip....never give up on love!! Internet dating was my last ditched attempt to find my true love! I would never have contemplated that method ever!! But it worked for us....
